International Biomass Supply Company is a supplier of a hard wood fuel chips with the primary species being Mesquite which is harvested in the Texas region. There are over 800,000 acres of Mesquite within 100 miles of Corpus Christi with the majority of that volume located on private lands. Harvesting can be done on a yearly basis with the only occasional limitation being seasonal heavy rains.
Operations based out of the Port of Corpus Christi allows for the chips to be loaded unto Ocean Vessels, Barges or Rail for transport. Loaded moisture levels range from 20% – 25%. Harvesting capacity can accommodate 2 million tonnes per year – and as demand increases we have the capacity to double this volume and expand acquisition range.

Average harvesting contract length is ten years that can be re-harvested on a 7 to 10 year cycle as mesquite naturally regenerates and negatively impacts native grasses. International Biomass Supply Company is providing a more cost effective option to these private ranch land owners by harvesting the mesquite as a bioenergy feedstock compared to the current practice of machinery removal and burning or suppression through chemicals.
Markets: From the Gulf of Mexico, International Biomass Supply Company services the Atlantic Region including: Europe, Central America, South America, Caribbean and Mediterranean Regions.
We have developed a method from existing technology to supply wood fuel chips in the most efficient manner by densifying into a two metric tonne square bale, which is wrapped and sealed for transport and storage.
