Pacific Biomass Export Company™ produces beneficial biomass as our harvester’s facilitate the landowner’s crop activities, and as such it is a byproduct of other primary operations. Some nut tree crops must be completely removed every 15 to 20 years, and then replaced with new trees in order to maintain or increase production. Our agriculture biomass is considered hard wood, and has a high BTU rating because of its density.
Efficiency of high volume removal and cost containment are the overriding influences on the conversion of agricultural waste to biomass. Agriculture biomass processing consists of whole tree removal and punning by primarily grinding, with limited chipping on larger whole trees. New technologies are continuing to improve biomass feedstock quality.
Each year thousands of acres of fruit and nut trees are removed and replanted throughout the state, with many thousands more having trees thinned out and pruned.
In addition to Agricultural Byproducts, Our Urban Green Waste Processors provide multiple Recycled Green Waste products.
